When in doubt, build it in the shuttlebay.

In the external shot of the USS Enterprise-D in #StarTrekTNG's "Galaxy's Child", Junior is blocking shuttlebay 3 (the larger, right shuttlebay ⬆️) while in the interior shot of the set, Junior is blocking the smaller left shuttlebay 2 ⬇️.

TNG "The Neutral Zone" Romulan Bridge was built inside the TNG Shuttlebay. You can see the shuttlebay wall panels above the Romulan logo.

A shuttle is leaving the USS Athena shuttlebay at warp in a risky maneuver seen in #StarfleetAcademy's "300th Night".

A member of Sord's species from the #StarTrekTAS episode "The Jihad" appears in the Enterprise shuttlebay in #StarTrekSNW's "Tomorrow's Enterprise". This is one of three alien species originally introduced in #TAS seen in the #SNW episode. 😊 1/2

A missed opportunity - we never had a TNG episode with variable gravity in the shuttlebay.

We don't often see the Constitution class shuttlebay of the USS Enterprise on #StarTrekSNW, so here are the two shots we get of the USS Griffin shuttlebay in "The Griffin Incident". All the shuttles gone, ideed!

Yes! There's indeed a famous Caitian seen in the shuttlebay in #StarTrekSNW's "Tomorrow's Enterprise". Where M'Ress was hiding all the time until season 1 of #StarTrekTAS? In the same place where Chekov was hiding in season 1 of #StarTrekTOS, yet managed to meet Khan! 😁

An avian alien is seen in the Enterprise shuttlebay in #StarTrekSNW's "Tomorrow's Enterprise". The crewmember shares characteristics with the Aurelian Aleek-Om from #StarTrekTAS' "Yesteryear"⬅️ and the Skorr Tchar from "The Jihad"➡️. I'm having a hard time deciding what species the SNW avian is. 1/2

These two shots from #StarTrekTNG's "The Mind's Eye"⬆️ and "Time Squared"⬇️ show changes made to the shuttlepod and the shuttlebay set. Notice the missing number on the front of the shuttle and the red light behind the shuttlebay doors, only present since "Evolution".

I know, I know, we're all very excited about some alien crewmembers seen in the Enterprise shuttlebay in #StarTrekSNW's "Tomorrow's Enterprise" but nobody is talking about the Axanar officer in sickbay ⬅️, a species first seen in #StarTrekENT's "Fight or Flight"➡️! 1/2

These screenshots from #StarTrekTNG's "The Mind's Eye"⬆️ and "Time Squared"⬇️ illustrate nicely how the shuttlebay doors were hidden behind a fake wall and the second level of the cargo bay set when the shuttlebay ⬇️ was redressed as the cargobay ⬆️.

The "All Good Things" future Enterprise D was the four foot version with temporary additions.

The central nacelle strut had an additional shuttlebay.

I love this shot of Admiral Reeger's shuttle approaching the USS Enterprise's shuttlebay while the ship is in orbit of Sigma-287D, a moon of the gas giant Madena V. :-)

#StarTrekTNG's "The Mind's Eye" is one of the rare episodes in which we see the shuttlebay ⬅️➡️↘️ and the cargobay ⬇️↙️ (a redress of the shuttlebay) in the same episode. Here are some screenshots for you to compare. :-)

Okay! The shuttlebay for the Niimiipuu is done for now, I will probably make another pass through before the final render for more detail/polish, but at least it's got 4 walls now. :D

How wonderful was it, after more than 30 years to see a landed Defiant-class ship in #StarTrekLowerDecks' "Fissure Quest"? I love the turbolift extending down from the shuttlebay, very flying-saucer-like! :-)
