Europe may be seeing the first signs of a genuine revival in photographic film manufacturing. Optik Oldschool has acquired InovisCoat and Filmotec, bringing emulsion development, coating technology, and manufacturing together under one roof, and under the control of active analog photographers.

It’s all slow with Silvergrain as you can see from our fragmented SilvergrainConnection Podcast ;-). The page isn’t up to date too. The newest printed magazine is only in the shop but not on the main webpage … 🙄

It’s going to be a slow process, heard the team at silvergrain classics he’s working with to build it on a podcast a few months ago, they’re talking about only opening the initial orders via Kickstarter when the design is perfected and passes stress testing. So could be maybe next year, maybe not?
