Ok I know this is old-man irritability but I don’t care if Mahmoud Khalil has a pregnant wife, I don’t care if he and his wife are childfree, I don’t care if he’s in a fucking polycule with a hedgehog and a jar of mayonnaise, NOBODY should be detained for protected speech, including singletons.

scenes/tabs in #half-edge are now even more independent, with their own selection/viewport states and all
it took some violent refactors throughout to make everything per-scene instead of global singletons, but it was surprisingly straightforward! *thanks my past self for code structure decisions*

they were called "MMOs" once and you found success through lots of single-player content, deep systems appealing to both singletons and groups, support for guild drama, and customer service that wasn't akin to getting a root canal, none of which seems to have made the transition to "live service"
