My hair journey since Covid has reflected how unsettled my 40s have been.
2017-2021: Kept cutting my Sisterlocks & dyeing them red.
Aug 2022: Cut off Sisterlocks after 13.2 years. Wore a short 'fro.
Oct 2023: Went on a cruise. Got braids. Kept getting braids.
Apr/Oct 2025: Went straight natural.

I've changed my style up due to the tariffs, which will affect both natural AND human hair extensions. I'm still natural, just blow-dried my hair for an old school press and curl.

I went from relaxers damn near my whole life to #sisterlocks and my only regret is that I didn’t think to loc my hair in my 20s. I woulda been bad af with locs back then. Still bad af now to be fair but I probably also woulda been a menace! 🤭
