The salvaged observation ends from two Skytop railroad passenger cars. They are made up of many oddly shaped windows in three tiers that allow the end to be rounded vertically and horizontally.

Apparently two Milwaukee road skytop lounges were put onto a carfloat as part of a restaurant concept someone did. It (predictably) went out of business, the boat being scrapped, and the cars chopped in half. The bodies are are at a museum in Minnesota.

Has anyone ever made a skytop eggliner?
An eggliner, a short oval model train vehicle made of two observation passenger car ends stuck together. It is painted with a Santa Fe warbonnet paint scheme. A skytop lounge passenger car. It has an observation end that is rounded horizontally and vertically, with many panes of glass. It is painted in Milwaukee Road's orange and maroon scheme with high rise buildings behind it.

She sank carrying two ex-Milwaukee Road "Skytop" observation cars that were bought by CN and briefly used in Montreal-Toronto service. The ferry was refloated and later scrapped in 2009. The surviving car shells went to the Milwaukee Road Heritage Center in Minnesota. 3/3
