Durch die Autoscheibe fotografiert, an der Regentropfen hängen. Der rotweisse Leuchtturm. Rechts und links davon ein weisses Haus mit dunklem Dach. Davor eine grüne Wiese, ganz links Teil einer unberechtigten Strasse und dahinter das Nordmeer. Alles ist durch den Regen verschwommen.

The recently restored 1905 Slettnes #Lighthouse in #Norway, the world's northernmost landbound lighthouse, has applied for the status of official nature information center. The lighthouse stands on the territory of a bird reserve and the world's northernmost #wetland.

En sak som illustrerer godt hvorfor det er viktig at Statsforvalteren har gode innsigelsesmuligheter – egenrådig kommunedirektør fikk «godt tilbud» og sørget for ulovlig asfaltering av vei i naturreservat. Nå er kommunen ilagt bot og vil få krav om fjerning av asfalten

Har hatt en av de verste, om ikke den verste kjøreturen til/fra Senja i romjula. Heldigvis var de verste forholdene de siste milene i begge retninger, ellers hadde det nok ikke blitt tur.
