- walk 10K steps at least five days a week
- lose 20 kilos
- do Dry January (which reminds me I'd better open my champagne tonight as if I drink it all tomorrow I won't put in 10K steps on Thursday!)
- join a painting class
- go out out twice a month.

update here is that I’m still trying to get my cell service restored which has involved ATT snailmailing me a piece of paper with a QR code on it (?) that didn’t work and now @bzcohen.bsky.social has the GALL/good sense to send me this link in response to a text youtube.com/shorts/_KygB...

Just because it’s used doesn’t mean it’s good for HR. Look at it from the job seeker perspective. People are snailmailing resumes because Claude is so horrible at getting qualified candidates in front of hiring managers.

Im getting my entire household to start snailmailing our reps and I IMPLORE everyone reading to do the same. Call your reps. Go to halls. If you cant or hate it because its inconvenient? Snailmail them. Look up guides on how to properly contact them for something. Ask them for a reply.

I had no idea this was a thing anymore. Back in my freelance writer heydays, I got my start by doing that, but around 94 or so it started becoming more of a rarity. I still have a folder somewhere of SASE'd rejection letters from editors. I can't imagine snailmailing a pitch now.
