Spent the day starting the development process to integrate passive acoustic monitoring with the new Bristlemouth development kits onto SoFarOcean smart mooring platforms. Am now exceedingly jealous of their office location at Pier 28

New toy day in the lab!
An RBRTridente for backscatter, fDOM, and chlorophyll-a measuring which will be broadcast in real time via our SoFarOcean SmartMoorings and a set of low cost passive acoustic hydrophone kits to teach students about sensors. 🤓

If you want to hear the sounds whales make, you have to go where the whales are!
