As a
Developer

I feel
Uncomfortable

When reading something like
"According to an engineer I talked to at WWDC, -someMethod is never ever called"

Phone call from Miss Anna Kennedy to audition tomorrow. "Ooh. Quarter Pounder? Yes please." #somemethod

I guess the best compromise for the #swiftlang “last expression as return value” pitch is to make the canonical example

```
func someMethod(int: Int) -> Bool {
@massicotte.org hey Matt! I hope you're fine 🙂
Quick Swift Concurrency question: I was expecting the someMethod() to be called on the Main Thread because my class is MainActor annotated. It's not the case: is that because it's a synchronous function, so it's executed on the calling thread?
Thanks!
You can call methods of a child component in #Angular templates via a reference variable
Do you think this is a bad practice? If so, how can we avoid it? What would be some cases where this is justified?
I moved `parentMethod` to a decorator ⚡
This separates "framework" code from app code. Plus, it will now throw if you try to access something that does not exist in parents
You now use
`@parentMethod someMethod`
then `this.someMethod()`
but probably best to only allow it in the context of that class (i.e. using "this")
this as Foo with public { someMethod }
i wish typescript had a type-safe way to assert a class method's privacy
foo as Foo with public { someMethod }
