Yeah, Mackenzie Scott is a fascinating case. She is literally ignoring the SOPs of philanthropy in order to give away wealth as quickly and efficiently as possible and she’s still getting richer. At her level it is impossible not to make money. Tax billionaires, A LOT.
Just to give a sense of the insane scale of billions of dollars…MacKenzie Scott got about $38 billion after divorcing Bezos in 2019. She has become the world’s most generous philanthropist, giving away over $19 billion…and she’s currently wealthier than she started.

At my day job, I put "Install VLC media player" into our workstation deployment SOPs YEARS ago because of this.
You meet the users where they are to stop them doing the stupidest shit imaginable.
You have no idea how much this paid off. The number of infected media players people downloaded in the age before Windows Media Player had more than three codecs is unimaginable

There's a reason the Navy says SOPs are written in blood. It's cause war ships like killing things and in the absence of regular naval combat they try to kill their crew.

I used to write SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) as part of my job and that was the first thing my boss taught me. SOPs are written in blood and it takes a committee of the involved parties to change them because not everybody knows everything about anything.
