Finding good art kits (i.e. that contain 1) a good book, 2) well thought-out projects, and 3) decent quality supplies to do said projects) isn't easy, but this year I managed to find one for fashion sketches (Fashion Studio by Spicebox) and it got me drawing immediately and on a regular basis.

You could try Rafi's SpiceBox. I have used their products for decades (a Suffolk-based business) and like them very much.

I'm blaming @chrishouston.ca for this
Today's "after work" cocktail:
1 1/2 oz Spicebox Spiced Rye Whisky
1/2 oz Licor 43
1/2 oz Cannella Cinnamon Cordial (Ferino Distillery)
Stirred with ice and strained into a chlled glass

Ok after some digging on the Barnes and Noble website, the product is called "Petit Picaso World Cup: Player Maker By Spicebox" and doesn't have any listing photos. share.google/xzR9X9C0fFZ2...
It looks like this has been out for a year with no one noticing.

MAJOR Ai ART PSA:
Ai is now in published art books. Today while browsing at Barnes and Noble, I found a "How to Draw Art" Kit for kids that is made of 100% Ai art.
This is just the cover. Each page gets worse and more obvious. 🤢

Oh gods... this sugar free "chocolate caramel" non-dairy creamer's sweetener is like drinking a soprano's high C note.
*adds some Spicebox chocolate whisky*
Ahhh... there we go... Now it's just one octave above middle C.
Much more mellow.

I have eaten the habaneri
That were in the spicebox
And which you were probably saving
to feel sick and enchilada
I am sorry, they burned so much
So painful and so hot

Spicebox obviously legendary, but what's the two in one with onions and peas? I've never had Dundalkian Chinese as my granny was so fussy about food she wouldn't even eat pasta haha she'd barely stretch to chipper chips over deep frying frozen ones herself.

Happy Father’s Day! Treat Dad to a bottle of 2019 Pinot Noir Estate Giacomino Reserve. Named after Frank’s father, this bolder Pinot has notes of spicebox on the nose, with a lush, velvety palate of plum & dark cherry. Pick up a bottle for Dad, our tasting room is open 11am-5pm. Cheers! 🍷

The house is full of the delicious aroma of a chicken Jalfrezi, gently simmering in the slow cooker. I can very highly recommend ordering spice blends from Raffi's Spicebox, these really are the best things I've tasted outside of a restaurant setting and they're so easy to use. spicebox.co.uk

For any UK people I will shill Rafi's Spicebox as doing excellent curry mixes.
A lot of how well the curry came out was due to Tang getting some good ingredients. Lovely Spanish sauce tomatoes, brilliant onion, and chicken thighs (not breasts).
Lubbly jubbly!

Some of the recipes in the Spicebox cookbook do a decent job of making tofu feel a bit more convincingly paneer-like than you might expect, though of course it will never yield the same creamy bliss

I ordered maple butter, bison sausage and Spicebox whiskey.
The bison sausage is delicious, if a little hard.
The whiskey is ... spicy 😁but also delicious.
Tomorrow we're having potato pancakes with organic Canadian maple syrup 🥰
