🎨 Seeking Art Pieces for Issue 2: Perspectives

As part of Curiositas' second issue, we are seeking to publish art relating to the humanities and our issue theme 'Perspectives'. Swipe for more information, and visit our website or email us for more information!

For Issue 2: Perspectives, we are looking to include art pieces related to the humanities and our theme, however you might interpret it. We hope to share a range of styles, interpretations, and techniques within Issue 2, to reflect the broad variety of ‘Perspectives’ within the humanities. #hobbystreak Day 2236: the crackle paint left a few gaps on the model from yesterday so I applied two quick coats of a yellowy brown to the others before adding texture paste. May pop the models out of the base to get proper access for texturing

The internet suggested cold water and that combined with a bit of elbow grease is doing the trick.
Luckily it was lots of small splodges which are easier to deal with.

tonight, with barely any prompting ("i was already thinking of puddings as well as crisps, grom") we have a creamy lemon tart, and for tomorrow we have snackages from the same place. tiny choc chip things for flopsy, and nutty splodges for me.
my snoot closing in on a slice of a baked something that is pale and interesting and topped with toasted almonds. the pointy end is missing and there is a blue fork on the plate in its place a little cellophane bag containing four tiny baked items. there are two chocolate chip cookie domes, and two rougher textured nutty cakey bakes

This is a marvellous book by Egana Djabbarova. ‘My Dreadful Body’ is the memoir of growing up Azerbaijani in Russia – told through chapters focussed on parts of the body. It’s translated by @lizoksbooks.bsky.social and published in UK by Linden Eds. Funny, human and engaging, but also devastating.

Look what I made for dinner. My version of Okonomyaki. I added seaweed and shitake and skipped the pork. Forgive my unartistic splodges of Mayo and sauce . They were delicious. Almost tempura crispy. Also no bonito flakes so I ad libbed with crispy onion.

A wooden panelled door in the process of being repainted, it is a textured mix of black sanded back to grey undercoat with white splodges on top. A dull brass number 8 towards the top adds a little colour.
