And we aren’t doing it because we’ve been dying to make short form video. It’s because the big tech companies spent squalling and years building addictive closed platforms, so that’s where users are.
Yeah I don't feel like enough gets said about how "pivot to video" is really about "pivot to centralized platforms," it's not like anyone's saying to send out mp4s via RSS, it's all just another front in the project to dismantle podcasting's original decentralized model
