Can see myself finishing my first draft of Delphi's little ship family of space lesbians today.

Am spending today thinking about tying up a disobedient mech pilot for being a hot shot trying to single handedly save the fleet instead of properly holding a formation w/ some strikecraft.

There may have been some illicit build techniques in my cosmic She-Hulk Strikecraft.

I endlessly enjoy that Starsector strikecraft and mechs respect the hangar bays modeled into every ship when deploying or re-arming.

Anyway, enjoy the pretty pink capital ship I gave to Lumielle upon realizing I have been writing her as trans.

The Maelstrom is my gender. I always come back to her.

Okay, I've had some time to think and figure out how I want Delphinium's fleet to work.

Precipice and Pride Before the Fall are a pair of battle carriers.

Delphi's armored Precipice is more strikecraft and bombers.

While the more high tech captained by Lumielle🏳️‍⚧️is filled w/ sniper/breacher mechs.

I will swap out weapons and strikecraft as frequently as I do clothes.

And I will often divide my day between 2-4 different outfits as I dress for very different scenarios.

Am being reminded of a dream *pages through our dream journal*

Of being a space strikecraft carrier. Waking up. Trying to retrieve precious strike craft limbs from being entangled with our partner carrier only for them to flood our bay with their limb carriers.

Causing alarms in our head to blare.

"...Please talk about starship design, strategy, and naval history with me?" *Gives [READER] his best puppy eyes*

"I wanna discuss awesome starship battles! Naval arms races, and the mindsets and political context behind each new competing strikecraft and battleship design! Pretty please?"

It's really hard for an opponent to get strikecraft/missile barrages through four miniguns on top of my own point defense.

And once we start trading blows, those shielded Strife Wanzers refuse to die. Constantly preventing an opponent from cooling off. And if they let their guard down... missiles!

Super happy with how these bigger prints of the new scifi bomber strikecraft came out. Id love to hear your thoughts on them, which is your favorite and if you can see them working well as standin models for any tabletop games youre playing.

Goodnight, sleep tight, don't let the strikecraft bite.

Strikecraft have a special role in a fleet's design as they represent the most human-scale design elements and the most agile wing of a combat fleet.

Nullvector is a science fiction epic featuring sculpted models for 3d resin printing.

One of the most entertaining maneuvers in #Homeworld 1/Cataclysm is attacking enemy capitals with your bombers or corvettes in Sphere formation. Enemy ship gets encircled 360 and bombed from all directions constantly. Sadly they broke this with remasters and HW2 strikecraft sucked too. #retro #rts

+ This close deployment sacrifices sensor range, but maximizes flak coverage for warships and escort targets alike.

Strikecraft squadrons launch from a dozen hangar bays, falling into formation around the fleet and MERKABAH. Any attackers would face enough flak and CAP to blot out the sun. +

Normally, he would discuss the fragmentary scans they'd made from a distance, target capabilities, coordination with capital and strikecraft assets, and casualty projections...

...he had the feeling that talking tactics would A: fly over Kirby's head, and B: waste the puffball's time.

"Go ahead!"
