like, if you have ever worked on a big project - one that involves hundreds or thousands of people - one of the very first things you have to do is identify the end result, how it will be measured, and determine what the risks you encounter may be. they don’t appear to have really done any of that
one thing i keep thinking about is that there’s no real long-term plan involved here. all of these actions strip state capacity, but there’s nothing to replace it. musk may think he can make x the file your taxes app, but, like, that’s not how it works, that won’t work.
