During a recent extended power-outage I decided to "make lemonade" and set up a little studio space in the dining room. Years ago, before my photography days, I collected semi-precious gems and minerals, and I decided to get up close and personal with the macro lens!

Found my light (and my vibe!) right here on the studio floor. Who says confidence can't be this playful? 😉

Art journal play this morning ☀️ Feeling the blue and yellow today — made the note to use in something else later, but honestly loved how it looked with the painters tape, so it stayed.

I’ve been having fun making pitchers. Peeling back the resist was so satisfying 💙

Loving how the earthy lines pop against the rich glaze. Definitely going to explore more patterns like this.
