A black-and-white photo of people walking along a foggy, pebbled beach. Figures fade into the dense mist as they move further down the shoreline, creating a quiet, atmospheric scene. Taken on St. Vincent’s Beach on the Southern Shore of Newfoundland, famed for its humpbacks who visit the shore to eat capelin in the early summer. Through the fog sounds their slow steady blows punctuated by relentless rolling waves.
