Thanks and I haven't voted yet (but it's sublimely easy in San Francisco; debating whether to go to the polling station less than a block away Tuesday or stop by City Hall tomorrow). California is one of those states that wants people to vote.

Also, "I included a sublimely complex encumbrance system, not to be used, but to spite the naysayers and haters."
Imagine: "I included a simple encumbrance system, not to be used, but to give people the pleasure of ignoring it."

Neil Young - Words (Between The Lines of Age)

Stewart wasn't just a sublimely compelling actor, but a very real, funny, and generous human being. We were blessed with many wonderful performances and moments over the years.

Tonight’s viewing. A tense, nightmarish, twisted war of nerves between David Warner and Patrick Stewart in Chain of Command Parts 1 and 2. Their two-hander is still extraordinary. Warner channeling the banality of evil so sublimely, Stewart essaying a man’s sense of reality being ripped out of him.

idk what it is but theres something sublimely amusing about seeing a post where someone is discussing ai in a pragmatic non bad faith way or talking about their own ongoing usage of it nonchalantly and then theres the AI Hater badge on them for some reason. probably in part bc its so rare

I adore the Battle Hymn of the Republic, but precisely because it is such sublimely beautiful Christian devotional art, it can’t serve as the national anthem of a secular ecumenical republic.

Thats why we gotta go with battle cry of freedom

Sublimely disguised pass by Fulton to take out five Blackburn defenders in this sequence.

11. The Last Chance Dance.

Consciously over-emotive lounge singing. Graeme has silly fun as the conductor. Tim is sublimely awkward/committed in acting out Bill’s dating instructions. This was the b-side of the lads’ final top-20 hit ‘Make a Daft Noise for Christmas’. #Goodies50 #TheLastChanceDance

I love Cinder, even knowing (Redacted if you haven't gotten that far). Her arc is sublimely unhinged. And her role in WIP 4 is massive, so we get lots more of her and Hailey being a dynamic duo.

This is such a sublimely satisfying movie and it kills me it’s buried because it would’ve been a blockbuster 15 years ago. It belongs to the great class of genre blending movies that are amazing at everything they try. I was shaking with joy watching it.

Bugger - still all things considered, ninety years is not a bad run in life's rich pageant. Koenig's obits are naturally going to focus on his #StarTrek work but don't sleep on his playing all the way against type in another iconic SF TV show, Babylon 5's sublimely hissable Alfred Bester.
