NUANCED TAKE ALERT:
It's bad to point a gun at a child even if they were kidnapped. Maybe border patrol shouldn't have submachineguns? just a thought. I do think it was good that the kid was relatriated to his father, but like cmon. This was not so much an outlier as a portent of things to come. 1/

Are they subsubmachineguns or are they just machineguns?
I'm guessing there are probably less than a handful of small caliber weapons on submarines. The ricochet would probably be a nightmare. For use only in mutinies.😜

Italian police are... surreal. In grad school, I once visited Venice with my classmate, my girlfriend, his girlfriend & 2 cops stopped us on the street to check our passports. They spent the whole interaction chatting up the ladies. They were, for some reason, carrying submachineguns.
