Nah she’s gonna parlay this into being the “democrat” on Fox News panels.

Shamelessness is the defining superpower of this era.
Haley Stevens is an absolute loser. Can't wait to watch her political career become irrelevant in the coming weeks.

stop one is “actually use your product”

The Jepsen report here is so bad I cannot imagine anyone at the company actually did.
Serious engineers (and anyone who employs them) should read Jepsen’s entire analysis. This is a devastating result for “vibecoding” as a practice and we must have a convincing story for why our use of LLMs does not fall into this trap.

And, lastly, how Trump has squandered the nation’s standing around the world through unnecessary choices—weakening the country around the world, likely irreparably, and creating an unprecedented moment in world history: The suicide of a superpower. www.doomsdayscenario.co/p/trump-s-ty...

dogfooding all yr own stuff continues to be a superpower
This is a fully general problem. People keep antagonizing the public by pushing out undercooked things too early, before they work. And then the product category is kind of tainted by the overpromises and high profile failures. People do this because they are financially incentivized to do so.
You know when Linus wrote the first version of Linux his message to the mailing list was that it was a fun hobby thing, not a thing you should go out and use right now. And then people used it and discovered the flaws and made improvements together. Everyone wants things too fast now.

Same. There was something that felt really radical about having a TV hero whose superpower was not just intelligence but thoughtfulness, and a kind of moral seriousness. Who showed from that first episode that you “win” by seeking to understand what seems like a threat.
I am so glad to have learned about the integrity of leadership from Patrick Stewart as a kid watching TNG. "What would Picard do?" feels like a fair guiding question.

Thank you, Patrick, for everything.
