Theology - The study of the history of superstitious nonsense and how to maximise its return by means of grifting.
If he’s a believer he’s a simpleton.
If he’s not, he’s a confidence trickster.
Either way he’s a disgrace!

Sorry but nope…keep the superstitious delusional bullshit for the buy-bull bashing barns and the hard-of-thinking gullible fuckwits that congregate there!

Nothing of all this superstitious and magical nonsense is real - except for the immunity dog who is immune to not being real.
Good dog.
I'll never understand the casual cruelty of "post x or you'll have a bad x"; sure it's not real, but that's not the point; why play on someone's anxiety like that, especially when things are awful for everyone already, y'know, the exact climate that makes ppl believe anything? Have dog

I am not superstitious but I did swap in the new Coutney sign for the Studbudz, flipped around the Liv, Phee and Kayla signs.

guilty about not updating the game. It feels like every time I decide to officially publicly work on it, something happens to slow development down.
So, yeah. Maybe by pausing development I'll magically get more time to do stuff again. I'm not superstitious but Murphy's law is... something idk.

The only reason I wouldn’t make a dumbass wish would be because I have a very idiosyncratic, semi-superstitious belief that grand wishes are bad for you, and that my mind and soul are healthier without. They’re a bad thing to let into yourself. Not because I’d take the fucking thing seriously.

We are a culturally christian country where most people are agnostic. We won’t accept pushing a load if superstitious nonsense down our children’s throat in order to satisfy some right wing nationalist fantasy. 1/2

writing down ADHD Methods is like transcribing the steps for a superstitious ritual.

Like, yes man, sometimes you just have to, knock on the doorframe 3 times when leaving your bedroom so your brain has enough time to notice the empty waterbottle or whatever. stupidass brain chemistry.

people are saying “phils won so the birds had to lose” or whatever but I don’t believe that superstitious stuff, the reason for the birds’ performance tonight is much simpler than that (they ate italian beef sandwiches before the game and they all got diarrhea)

The literal difference between them is the superstition. Like, Luther said 'what if we did Xtianity but without all the mad superstitious stuff?' like purgatory and indulgences and transubstantiation. Literally what those two sects are about.

Regardless, ..I'm not superstitious but inking Satan into my body…man, you had it coming

This is all very true. But have you considered the counterpoint that superstitious nonsense make primitive ape brain feel good?

We are that irrational. We still believe in magic. To our detriment to be sure. Just look at our policies. Our behaviors. Our wars. We are a too often ignorant short sighted superstitious people. We just cloak it in nationalism and rhetoric and industry.

We were always stupid superstitious apes
Rumours spread about the vaccine, claiming it lowered the intelligence of people. Others said children were tied to beds and forcefully vaccinated. Some religious groups stated getting vaccinated was the same as getting the Number of the Beast.

As an incredibly superstitious sports fan, I’ve seen what the Pope did for the Knicks. So, maybe, don’t count the White Sox out.
