I'm back to working on my breed and fiber study. I finished the first half of the Suri Alpaca sample #79. Singles spun at 25 wpi, plyed from a center ply ball, to get a 2 ply, sport weight, 12 wpi yarn about 44 yards to 1.75 ounces

Aside from those last update photos, I also got this black suri alpaca to try. I think I'll be spinning this as a fine 2 ply on a drop spindle. #alpaca #surialpaca #spinning #handspinning

Fulling these blankets was a tough job. Watched Laura Fry’s class on Magic in the Water afterwards and they do both pass the cloth integrity finger poke test. Back to the drawing board for some sampling.
