That’s a wrap! #svRicketts, #SeattleWashington to #SaintHelensOregon. Time for a shave, shower, pizza, sleep aboard #svEyrie, and laundry tomorrow morning. I’ve no idea what’s in store for me after laundry and refilling the diesel tank and water jugs. Hopefully, they’ll have some room for me here. 😊

A pair of coyotes loped along the beach exposed by the ebb tide. Canadian geese guarded their goslings, as crows sounded the alarm. The coyotes continued along their opportunistic hunt, and peace was restored in short order. Another idyllic anchorage in the lower #ColumbiaRiver, aboard #svRicketts.

Studying the weather & sea state forecasts, and it looks like a window is opening up to allow a quick (as possible) passage south to the #ColumbiaRiverBar. It will be just me, and this mostly unfamiliar little #PacificSeacraft, #svRicketts, in the realm of 36+/- hours, hook up/down, with catnaps.

Studying the weather & sea state forecasts, and it looks like a window is opening up to allow a quick (as possible) passage south to the #ColumbiaRiverBar. It will be just me, and this mostly unfamiliar little #PacificSeacraft, #svRicketts, in the realm of 36+/- hours, hook up/down, with catnaps.
When I purchased #svRicketts, I knew the (2) depth sounder transducers were non-operational. I brought (4) plotters, but failed to confirm my position at anchor before the #MinusTide resulted in our balancing act in gooey mud. Fortunately, Ricketts remained upright so I could save face! 🤣

When I purchased #svRicketts, I knew the (2) depth sounder transducers were non-operational. I brought (4) plotters, but failed to confirm my position at anchor before the #MinusTide resulted in our balancing act in gooey mud. Fortunately, Ricketts remained upright so I could save face! 🤣
