Or like Calia, the issue is not Calia's story, it's the way she was put in the story, like with all the spite against Sylvanas and Forsaken fans. Calia being the same way she is just not forced to replace Sylvanas is a perfectly serviceable character, that I like personally.

It reminds me how both Alliance AND Horde were unhappy by the end of BfA's Fourth War. Like even the Sylvanas chud fans and non-Syl Horde fans BOTH hated BfA's war campaign because of how boring and noncommittal it's ending of Sylvanas leaving Orgrimmar in her Koopa Clown Car for Shadowlands was.

Oh and if you were a chud-ass Sylvanas stan who liked her BfA portrayal, GUESS WHAT'S COMING NEXT

This feels like Sylvanas' stunt double. It's really hard for me to take it as seriously as her Wrath or Legion looks.
I get why some people like it but... I really think this isn't Sylvanas to me.

Putting her in a leadership position and trying to "replace" Sylvanas and be "better" than the Forsaken is the issue, without that she works as a one of a kind thing

I sorta like it in the sense that this is sylvanas in government, not rangering around. But it doesn't quite sell since its just player gear.
But i see the vision, especially here

Yeahh, I do think Forever should backport a lot more models for important npcs. Like TBC Rexxar, Wrath Sylvanas etc
Thrall could do with his own custom vanilla style model

When Prince Anduin was still a child under “Auntie Jaina’s” care
When Thrall still proudly wore Doomhammer’s armor
When Nazgrim still upheld honor
Before Putricide’s betrayal
Before Tyrande went to war
Before Sylvanas left the Undercity…
When Cairne Bloodhoof was still Chief…
I miss that.

smartest, funniest, WEIRDEST cat I've ever had, bar none. lives up to her goddess of chaos/morally ambiguous-turned-villain name everyday.
(it's Sylvie. after the fem Loki from the MCU show and Sylvanas Windrunner, since my last cat was named Jaina after Jaina Skywalker-Solo and Jaina Proudmoore.)

No, you’re absolutely right, and I’ve used Sylvanas as a talking point on how sanitizing the ugly parts of female characters (be it their morally wrong actions, or uncomfortable parts of their backstory) is misogyny, not feminism.
She’s not a girlboss just cause she smirked through the horrors.
