Sythesizers... Brand new back in the day and it transformed music for years to come.

Much like what Queen did in the 80s by saying "No sythesizers were used in the making of this Album"

Now a similar movement is going on in Film. This was in the end credits of Heretic.

Did you spot it?

Working on creating an ensemble of tiny virtual creatures who use my hardware sythesizers to improvise together.

They produced a fun documentary to accompany the short film.

Hot take: I would love to hear @lotusvibes.bsky.social cover something niche, like #LookMumNoComputer 's #EinZweiDrei, the UK's 2026 #Eurovison entry during a #modular set. #ESC2026 #jambands #sythesizers

For the first time ever I'm saddened to think how highly trained orchestra members must have felt when sythesizers came out. I never gave them a thought before now. My bad.

Veiled in stardust, consciousness dances through eternity.

Modular sythesizers, like hhnoi, and a similar hit + miss rate: all killers, no fillers. And killing it he is for sure, calling it caustic electronics - sometimes I had to think of pioneering scores for movies like Near Dark or Videodrome, but it is also quite different from those #AlbumsOfTheYear24

I feel like I should be making something with this stuff by now beyond trying to make the 2600 sound like the MS-1 to try and convince myself to part with the MS-1.

(So fair I'm failing)

Drum machine malaise too. I have model: samples, drumlogue, and EP-133. None seem to make me happy :/ #synths

*shrugs* maybe many authors of such or large number of their fans are into modular sythesizers?

Well having an awesome ship with food sythesizers and simulation rooms would be nice
