Always great to see a paper on BioRxiv that reaches the same conclusions, using similar lines of evidence, to a paper that we put on BioRxiv 7 months ago and published in PNAS a month before theirs was posted — but doesn't cite our work.

Always great to see a paper on BioRxiv that reaches the same conclusions, using similar lines of evidence, to a paper that we put on BioRxiv 7 months ago and published in PNAS a month before theirs was posted — but doesn't cite our work.

Excited to be part of this collaboration with the Burrows lab exploring twitching and surface surface sensing by P. aeruginosa. This work further delineates a role for the T4P motor proteins and pili for surface sensing.

They are typically ~6 nm in diameter, and can be over 10 µm long.
