that said, my suspicion is that this was an israeli operation. Netanyahu threatened this exact sort of attack not long ago, and israel has done this before.

Thus Simon Hopkins in 2020 said: "In Classical Arabic (CA), the final vowel -ā is sometimes written with alif and sometimes written with yāˀ. According to early grammarians, Quranic tajwīd and the traditional pronunciation of CA, the two spellings are in sound identical;"

Of course early grammarians *did* say that there was a distinction in pronunciation.
And in Quranic tajwid there *is* a distinction between the two sounds,
and in traditional pronunciation of Classical Arabic, at least in 9th century Kufa, they were *not* identical.

Enggak, tes nya lebih banyak dikasih soal studi kasus (menangani kasus2), soal keislaman, hafalan quran, bacaan quran (bacaan2 tajwid, tahsin dll) gitulah. Setauku yg bahasa Arab mah ya utk guru bahasa Arab aja. Ternyata pas tadi liat komen2 di grup, ngomongnya pada pake bahasa Arab 😭 aku gak ngerti

Iya betul pas itu aku belajar tajwid dan tahsin metode qiroati. Jadi udah dikasih tau sama ustadzahnya.
