On my trip I managed to get some international candies from a Publix in Emerald Isle, NC, and Celtic Treasures in Saratoga Springs, NY. The licorice is for my mom. I'm especially excited to try the Coffee Crisp.
Five packages of candy lay on a tan carpet: Taveners Licorice Allsorts, Rowntree's Fruit Gums, Fox's Glacier Mints, Nestle's Coffee Crisp, and Fry's Peppermint Cream.

The pier head as seen from the BRILLIANT Peoples Gallery. Photographs with this phone are impossible but the exhibition is magnificent. I loved the Kosher Butcher exhibit. I hate that animals die for us but the storyline around this shop was really good. Where did those people go? 😓 Overhead tramway exhibit Docklands Railway sample. Taveners sweets exhibition. Interesting but slim. The factory on, actually just off Edge Lane with close next month. Bastsrds. Great viewing space of the Mersey. Royal Fleet Auxiliary ship being towed from Birkenhead right here with the Stena Link ferry to Dublin in shot. The once mighty river at least with some traffic.

We got European Candy, not so much UK candy, from the Delis and bakeries. We did sometimes get those candies in the black tins with a thin layer of powdered sugar on them so they didn't stick together. I can't recall the brand name. Oh, and the licorice assortments, trying to get the blue ones first
