Mit was für einer Reifenbreite hast Du jetzt gerechnet? Soweit ich weiß hört es meistens bei 38mm auf bei Conversions.
Und auch noch Kettenstreben plus Gabel checken...
Btw: die Tektro Langschenkel gelten quasi als Goto-Lösung für soetwas. Sollen relativ steif sein.

And if you're not brake-ist like David😂, you can score piles of tubular wheels for bar tab money. And mid-tier Tektro cantis work super well. So if you need to build from the ground up you really can do it on the cheap

Took a quick blast to Wickes to grab some masking tape and isoprop and giving the front brake a test run. It works ok but the pads are really rattly in the caliper, moreso than the old Tektro caliper!

I've seen the receipts, including the hand-stitched tires and working with I think it was Velocity to extrude the rims, and Tektro to develop the R559 calipers

Tektro have some nice levers. I can't remember the model numbers, though. They're one of those brands that do pretty run of the mill durable & functional stuff but have a couple of nicely designed products. You know they'll work. Do you remember the model you've got?

The newer Bosch smartsystem is also a nice change from my System 2 bike. The rear of the bike is exactly the same (apart from color) but the bucket is a completely new and better design. Alas many accessories are not compatible and my bike came with Tektro brakes instead of Magura. A big upgrade!

Only one unknown Chinese brand (Atum) is selling a fully aluminum gravel bike. It comes with Shimano Claris groupset and Tektro mechanical disk breaks. The bike is unreasonably heavy, 15Kgs. 20,000 EGP (or 300 USDs). It comes with 35mm tires and maximum tire clearance is probably 38mm.

No, a right hook cured me of brakelessness. This will be very braked up so I can convert to single speed for cx shenanigans, maybe.

I went ahead and ordered some tektro Mini Vs to replace the pretty terrible cantis so I'll probably order all the stuff for the 1x next week

むしろ今のΩのULTEGRAのリムブレーキの方が余程効きがよく感じるくらいだし

正直ディスクブレーキだろうとTektroのはそこまで信用してないから評価ポイントにはならんのよね

Odvzdušnil jsem tektro brzdy (spooousta oleje všude 🤦♂️) a přehodil RX zpátky na letní karbony.
