I also swapped out the canti brakes for Tektro mini V-brakes. The cantis just had too much slack and always felt soft.
Rear was no problem but the studs on the front fork are mounted super high & close to the rim. After much puttering they work great. A vast improvement in stopping.

Its a Fiido D11.
It has
- Tektro disk brake calipers
- a powercon connector to the seatpost
- a "Fahrer" extension for the mudguard
- an SQLab saddle
- red cable ties holding the motor cable
All of which are non-standard.

It has

honestly though I only realized this myself in the last couple of weeks when I finally got hold of some Tektro long-pull drop-bar levers and used them with long-pull disc calipers
they are *really* nice to use!

Odvzdušnil jsem tektro brzdy (spooousta oleje všude 🤦♂️) a přehodil RX zpátky na letní karbony.
Ty grifgumy jsem vyměnit nestihl, tak třeba dneska večer...

Good call on side pulls. A cheap Tektro will stop ten times better than a top of the line vintage Campy. It's just science

this bike was never intended to have Tektro R559 caliper brakes and 451 minivelo wheels but by god it'll have them anyway.

Tempting vintage restoration project. 1982 Trek 412. Suntour vxs derailleurs are pretty great. Put some tektro 559 long reach brakes and 700c wheels on it. Or maybe even 650b with dia-compe centerpulls.

Doing some much needed maintenance on the mtb only to realize the stock Tektro brakes are just that bad. Fresh oil didn’t change how spongy they felt. Went for a dusty ride & then picked up some Shimano brakes from the local shop.

Doing some much needed maintenance on the mtb only to realize the stock Tektro brakes are just that bad. Fresh oil didn’t change how spongy they felt. Went for a dusty ride & then picked up some Shimano brakes from the local shop.

Not 100% sure but it has a Bosch motor system with Enviolo gearing and a Gates belt drive system so I'm guessing more of the former than the latter? Also Tektro brakes, Schwalbe tires, and various Bontrager parts.

Out with the old, in with the new: first install of new hydraulic disc pads. This RadRover 6+ has 1,434 miles. Should have done it a bit sooner, but rotor is still in decent shape. #RadPowerBikes #BikeBrakes #e-bike
