Opening 4's second season, #TerroroftheZygons was #UNIT's last hurrah, though technically they figured into several later episodes from the season. But it was Lethbridge-Stewart's last appearance apart from guest-starring in 1 story each with 5 and 7. (1/3)

My #DoctorWho #Season13 collection turned up a day early (guess I must’ve been a good boy, eh?)Even by 70s Doctor Who standards, this is an outstanding season. #TerrorOfTheZygons, #PlanetOfEvil #PyramidsOfMars #TheAndroidInvasion #TheBrainOfMorbius and #TheSeedsOfDoom, pretty much wall to wall bangers. The brilliant #TomBaker and #ElisabethSladen take centre stage, ably assisted by #IanMarter, #NicholasCourtney and a guest cast to die for. I was privileged to see the updated Zygons at the BFI a few weeks ago, the updated effects are clever and unobtrusive.Each of these stories has a personal connection for me, whether it’s through buying on VHS in the late 80s with my Christmas money, or lending the novelisations from Canning Town library years before I was able to watch on screen, I can’t wait to devour these all over again.

"Take the human out and prepare him for use" is a strikingly sinister piece of dialogue, especially when at this point in the story you have no idea what use they're putting Harry to.

In 2008 I sketched breakdowns for a comic adaptation of Terror of the Zygons episode 2.

In 2022 I started to do it properly. Didn't get far, but I kinda like what I did come up with, even if it's silly starting with the second episode.
