My NYC&HR tenwheeler bash has begun proper. Testfit the pilot deck and motionbracket. Some adjustments and fettling are needed before soldering.
And I pressed the geared drivers off its axle and loctited one to some NWSL 3mm shafting. Gearbox is a High Level Roadrunner+.
I am insane.

As our homes have become less social, residential architecture has become more anti-social. Clifton Harness is a co-founder of TestFit, a firm that makes software to design layouts for new housing developments. He told me that the cardinal rule of contemporary apartment design is that every room is built to accommodate maximal screen time. “In design meetings with developers and architects, you have to assure everybody that there will be space for a wall-mounted flatscreen television in every room,” he said. “It used to be ‘Let’s make sure our rooms have great light.’ But now, when the question is ‘How do we give the most comfort to the most people?,’ the answer is to feed their screen addiction.” Bobby Fijan, a real-estate developer, said last year that “for the most part, apartments are built for Netflix and chill.” From studying floor plans, he noticed that bedrooms, walk-in closets, and other private spaces are growing. “I think we’re building for aloneness,” Fijan told me.

Rychlej testfit prvního draftu: Uvnitř po stranách místa dost na polstr v rozích. Lehce zvětším prostor před displejem, ať je v případě "prohnutí" prostor před displejem a neřachne to skrytě uvnitř. Ale i PLA je pevný jak prase. Půjde to ve fináne ABSkem. Další testfit bude už i s víčkem a polstrem.

I've seen several interesting generative design tools, and I agree that the AI on what "fits" is very promising

That's similar to a friend's company (that I'm a small investor in) called Testfit which does that for parking spots and buildings on sites.

I was going to take the trailer, but without the bottleholder it fits fine. 40 km. roundtrip to the thriftshop on the other end of the island for a matching, folding kitchenchair. On the way back it worked like a sail. #regel17 #carryshitolympics
