Some quick thoughts on perfectionism, and why try to teststitch each pattern before releasing ~ 🫶

Working on testing my #lotr location inspired bookmarks and sadly have to restitch the moria one. The rock is too dark for the little figure blobs 😩 Hopefully mordor keeps going well.

It's a common sentiment among certain cross-stitchers tbh.

"Why would I buy a pattern when I can just work off of the pixel"

1. I teststitch and make sure the colors work
2. Because stealing from a small creator is WRONG.

It's been a while since I posted my #crossstitch WIP! About half done on a test stitch for CraftyBtchDesigns on Etsy: #DrPhosphorus of #creaturecommandos.

I stitch much slower on black fabric, even with 2 strong lamps, plus a lightboard behind the stand 😂
