Functional and phylogenetic signals in the pectoral girdle of Thalattosuchia and Dyrosauridae (Crocodylomorpha)
Crocodylomorphs have colonized various environments from fully terrestrial to fully aquatic, making it an important clade among archosaurs. A remarkable example of the rich past diversity of Crocodyl....

The tailbend of Metriorhynchidae (Crocodylia: Thalattosuchia) measurements, limits and paleoecological implications - PalZ
Although the remains of Metriorhynchidae have been known in Normandy since the nineteenth century, few complete postcranial elements have been studied in detail. Analysis of the angle of flexure of th...

Lite fler havsåtervändare. Because why not.

Five years ago, I published my very first paper together with @dinosven.bsky.social, @drmarkyoung.bsky.social & @palaeo3d.bsky.social. We described and named Cricosaurus bambergensis, a marine crocodile relative from the Upper Jurassic of Bavaria.

The specimen, described in 2021 by me, Mark Young, Pascal Abel & Heinrich Mallison as a new species of Cricosaurus, was named after its finder, Raimund Albersdörfer. It is shown at the Bürgermeister-Müller-Museum in Solnhofen.
