#BookSky #BoycottedBooks #TheBookWasBetter Just finished reading. Fun thriller filled with historical references. If you have seen the movie, but haven’t read the book, please do.

Watching Dune: part 2.
The books left such an impression on me when I read them when I was younger.
I have always been sad at how spectacularly the movies never, ever, lived up to the books.

Regarding the problem of books vs movies, something I've been trying lately is to watch the movie, then read the book. This generally results in two pleasant events, as opposed to one good event and one disappointment, which often occurs when one reads the book first. #thebookwasbetter

I pretty much spent the last two hours hate-watching Thursday Murder Club. From the Bogwarts-esque mansion to the dumbed down mystery- why? #thebookwasbetter

I don't think I've been let down as hard by a movie and POOR THINGS le me down last night. When I read the book I thought "This is great, but how did they make this a movie?!" And then it and thought "not well."
I've been a Yorgos girlie since DOGTOOTH so this hurts.

We've all had the argument. Here's a completely subjective discussion of books that are better than their movies, movies that are better than their books, and a few that are terrible in both forms.
