Today we used TIDE (Topic, Important Details, End) from thinkSRSD to write a paragraph together to conclude our unit on Farming. We are finally past using “We love…” to begin every wrap-sentence!

CKLA would be so much better if they incorporated writing instruction such as ThinkSRSD. As a tutor, I use CKLA and CKHG texts within the ThinkSRSD framework. We develop knowledge by developing our analytical skills and learning how to express new understandings = structured writing every day.
