Another more-than-double timed iPad piece for @peregrinefeathers.bsky.social this time, of his adorable peregrine fellow holding his real life sun conure in a fond moment. Super duper fun, I went absolutely overboard timewise but extremely happy with the turnout.

I got the itch to do a bit of fanart yesterday while chilling on my day off in @punchystream.bsky.social’s stream, so a thing happened lmao— I’d call this a regular iPad portrait timewise since it took about 3h— got the idea in my head to do a really fantastical backlighting thing on him.

One of the things I like about Denver Lightrail (at least along my line) is that it is pretty reliable, timewise, and I know exactly when it hits my station.

The thing it’s missing is frequency. It comes every half hour.
What transit experts generally tell you is: the highest use of scarce resources is making transit service more *frequent & reliable*. That's what actually boosts ridership.

Everything else -- free point-of-use fare, electric buses, fancy new trolleys, architecturally fancy stations -- matters less.

I think it's now proper timewise) to celebrate our friend John @chauncey8581.bsky.social who demolished his 40K in style. What a wonderful achievement to celebrate. Please join us, y'all. Celebrate & congratulate the man.

It amuses me a bit that if you do not invest in the wonderland thing in genshin (timewise or otherwise), your manekin actually looks like an npc fighting in Teyvat. 😂

Our brief experiment in liking stancil seems to be over, which seems about right, timewise

Smith hints at it to his credit, but it is incredible that this completely lines up with the "rw vibe shift" timewise, where the people selling it were radicalizing in pvt texts with the rw

Timewise, we're now farther from the release of Forrest Gump than Forrest Gump is from the creation of stonehenge.

More indulgent art. Not quite what I was looking for, and I took it as far as I was willing to timewise. Enjoy!

TRAIN NERDS.

The Ocean's line #14 and #15 meeting up in the morning at Matapedia.

We're 9 hours late so we're the ones to pull off and let the Halifax bound train go by.

There's no saving this trip timewise so yeah, just pass us eastbound fellahs.

Toyin Falola's focus timewise on the history of Yorubaland is 19th C to present but I'd bet his citations would take you back to the period you're looking for

I've been asked a few times recently and just wanted to mention I don't plan on doing commissions again anytime soon - I've managed my last batch really poorly both timewise and communicationwise and don't think i'm able to juggle in between them and studies atm, sorry 🙏🙏

Our didactic review on machine learning for causal inference, now open access:
• identifiability (theory of when the data can answer a causal question)
• machine-learning estimators
• study design (asking well-framed questions + loopholes, eg with timewise data)

It is a shame that, the more I work on my thesis, the less I'm able to draw. Not just timewise, but I think I burn the same kind of creative energy working on this, as I do when drawing!
Art productivity is probably gonna be a bit less these next few months ahah...

the east coast is too far ahead of the west coast, timewise. when it's 7am here, they're acting like it's 10 already? where do they get off

I'm a day later than I should've been, but those of you back home in NZ are now five hours ahead of me in Perth rather than four, and as is tradition I'm reupping my thread about NZ's innovations timewise

If you got up for work at 7am today, that would have been 5:30am on NZ's original mean time
Early this morning, daylight saving began in New Zealand for another year. This is, I think, a good opportunity to highlight two Kiwi innovations: it was the first country in the world to establish a national mean time and a New Zealander invented DST. How did that happen? Well, read on... 1/20
