#AncientSiteSunday - Tipasa, one of the Punic-Roman cities on the Mediterranean coast of North Africa. Originally established as a Punic trading post, it later grew into a prosperous Roman colony, adopting Christianity early on. Tipasa was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1982.

Ik ken weinig opgravingen die zo mooi zijn als Tipasa in Algerije. Wat wil je: de Romeinse stad lag aan zee en half in een bos.
