Hiii blueskyers, I'm Mijo (He/They, 19). Was @TAH_TIGRE on twt. I'm into lots of stuff but my main interests are tokusastsu (Kamen Rider, Super Sentai, Godzilla, Ultraman, Dogengers), horror media, animanga, movies, and TTRPGs.

You can read more about my interests in my carrd:

And there's levels of media knowledge beyond and between that. A friend I've been watching anime with I had to explain what an OVA was to, and another was unfamiliar with the concept of tokusastsu when the topic came up in relation to anime. Everyone learns something for the first time sometime.

Email Shout!. I know they like tokusastsu.

I'll throw my hat in! I love westerns, superhero stuff, and cyberpunk!

"Fuuto PI" is still an anime adaptation of a manga that's a sequel to a toku show that legally, US people can't watch more than the first 2 episodes of. And yeah, in my experiences there have been people who watch WAY more anime than me but turn their nose up at tokusastsu.

He-man is one of those properties that doesn't work in live action unless you do it in a Japanese tokusastsu style. One if the reasons the series is beloved is the juvenile fun of the world and characters that just looks ridiculous in a standard U.S live action(I.e "series") modality

"yuya takahashi is the wokest tokusastsu writer"

piro que to querendo entrar no mundo do tokusastsu bem em breve

Quando eu tiver tempo... começarei por este mas se tiver mais indicações estou querendo...

Been thinking about making a visual novel style game about the player character becoming a latex furry alien (akin to the style of changed) but mixed with tokusastsu elements

Basically the player feels notably happier as a latex furry and more self actualized despite everyone else's fears of them

Of all my #deskbot posts I think this one from before I joined Bluesky is my favourite - Powerdasher Zetar gives me Tokusastsu mecha costume vibes so I've always imagined his transformation like the robot combination sequences from things like Power Rangers

A Sneak peek of some end-of-the-month work.
