tombow dual brush pens pair nicely with watercolor pencils bc they're water based (I use them like watercolor by drawing on a laminated paper "palette") and some are pretty dang bright. but it can help to google the color bc the swatches can be misleading

The tutorial book is absolutely not made for drawing buildings but the method still somehow works (tried an Haussmanian building, yup, missing Paris, WDYA?)

Good solution if you don't have time for the traditional "proper" perspective method.

Another recent commission wrapped just in time for the ghosty season. My Scooby-Universal Monster mash up. The client just sent pics of the framed final piece. He gave it the deluxe treatment, which is always super flattering. Watercolour and Tombow felt pen.

Tombow isn't GREAT price wise but alot of stores sell individual markers as well as colour scheme packs that are good for entry tests!

Spent the weekend at a cemetery to sketch, watched Wildwood, had tasty food and hung out with people, and two countries outvoted fascists. It's been a good few days.
Poor Willy.. I didn't know him. The autumn leaves know his stone pillow well enough, though. 1.5 hours, Posca paint markers and Tombow water markers.
