#tooloftheday or is it #hackoftheday. You have a brradboarded mashup and you want to add a logic probe or injector bit it’s already really skeevy. Make up some du-pont replicator adaptors which give you extra pins to attach grounds and probes.
A 2.5mm pitch stacking header has had one of its long pins bent across the others and soldered to them, meaning that there are four sockets and three pins which are now all electrically connected. Inserted on the end of a “duPont” jumper wire, you now have one signal multiplied for attaching test gear.

A hex shank threading tap with an integral pilot drill at the tip, alongside the broken tip from another of the same tool. I have never not regretted reaching for this convenient tool. Seriously they are okay for soft material up to about 1.5mm thick, DO NOT USE IN BLIND HOLES. again.

#tooloftheday Adjustable reamers. You don’t need wm very often but when you do they save an asstonne of work. (If you don’t have any, you can make a one off reamer to do the job, but that takes longer).
An adjustable reamer (blades that slide in angled slots under the control of two nuts) being used to ever so slightly enlarge a 7mm hole that is a bit tight.

A motor sits atop the bracket to which it will be bolted. Four pointed transfer screws are fitted to the motor’s mounting holes, and the points of the screws are to hing the bracket. A light tap will mark all four places to drill the bolt holes. A motor bracket and a motor. Since the motors central boss is too short to register against the hole, an extension boss has been made to ensure the motor aligns exactly with the central hole while marking the screw locations. Tweezers apply precise pressure via a sliding collar. A pair of hemostats hold silicone coated wire in place for soldering to a battery management boards. Try this with PVC wire and you might damage the insulation.
