Shakespeare was pop culture, it was about blood and sweat and dirt and sex and politics and jokes and it was topnotch shitposting and it's been acamadized to DEATH.
NGL, one of the most eye-opening experiences for me is when I was told by my teacher how Shakespeare had lots of dirty jokes and it was explained to me, and how I had to hunt for them. Unsurprisingly, I was super into Shakespeare for a while because — gasp — it was fun?!

OG Stars Wars is on FX. It's interesting to listen to while puttering around the house. The sound effects & mixing are still topnotch. Not too busy. Clean. And Williams' score is attuned to the movement of people & objects across & through the frame. Like he's action-painting with a huge brush.
