I mean, you COULD get a few train horns on a drill... Or you can just bring your own train!!!

Thankfully, if you fit a rubber wheel to an engine, it now counts as a trackmobile.

Picture perfect timing 🖼️

Even this Trackmobile Hercules couldn't hide behind the moving railcars on a delivery to a customer earlier this week.

That area is really good for taking photos of trains. There are no obstacles, so you can get very wide shots and, with the right light you get those nice reflections! Here are some shots I took over the years.

Ah so kinda like the Trackmobile. Hopefully we’ll get to see more small motive power come out. Walthers rereleasing their ML8s was a godsend.

Proud to provide Trackmobile Atlas training at an aluminum mill in Maryland last week - making sure these operators are safe, secure, and ready to roll on this railcar mover.

Nowadays for the very few moves that happened on those tracks they have a shuttlewagon, which is basically just a bigger trackmobile

This video goes insanely hard wtf

Honestly good for Trackmobile, I believe NASA used a handful of different locomotives (the younger ones being from the 70s and the older ones dating back to the 50s) to do this stuff so ig it makes more sense to just use these

But I guess the trackmobile company were justifiably proud about landing a big big gig with their little dinky rail car movers and my God the editing is on another level. It feels like it's from an entirely different era of editing flavor

I honestly thought I had posted these last year when I took them, but beauty shots of the finished aside from maybe a touch of weathering (gotta do something about those shiny wheels!) critter for the Bayside Canadian Railway. The trackmobile there appears to be a Whiting Tackmobile 5TM from what I can see in pictures and streetview. I wrote about the critter and the details of the build previously here.
