Is “transactivism” like PayPal or something
Julie Bindel’s latest UnHerd article is a masterclass in manipulation, published just as Parliament scrutinises the Conversion Practices Bill.

She wants us to worry about psychologists being prevented from questioning trans people’s identities.

But she’s avoiding a far more important question. 🧵

“Transactivism” is three people handing out leaflets outside a bar and being ignored.

Which is presented as some all powerful force by media empires which are the playthings of the oligarch class.

Their use of "transactivism" just shows how much of a dogwhistle "transwomen" is. NOBODY in their right mind would use "transactions instead of trans activism so why apply that to other words ffs?

You and read the archived gaslighting article by Julie Bindel here.

It’s a masterpiece of cherry-picked propaganda with the purpose of lobbying politicians and the public to reject a bill that would protect the trans people she obsessively attacks! 😖

Terrific, in depth piece. We are still very far from a return to sanity on this subject. Institutions, sectors, professional bodies, remain in thrall to this totalitarian movement.

pretty sure transactivism was what that guy was doing in a bedroom in Sunderland in season four of Industry to hide the porn company payments that Tender didn’t want the regulators to see

In this thorough and damning investigation, Julie Bindel uncovers the rot at the heart of British clinical psychology: an affirmation approach that amounts to, as one whistleblower put it, a “trans conveyer belt”.

“Changing Gender LIVE” with Susan Stryker
What is the future of gender? The iconic Susan Stryker joins us for a live recording to see where this question might lead us and speak about how she investigated it in her new book Changing Gender. Susan explains why gender is in fact a Humanities problem, not a science problem, and how thinking about animacy, grammar and psychedelics might get us closer to understanding the work that gender does as a concept. If you’re into trans rights and a bit of a grammar nerd, this will be your dream episode.   References: Susan Stryker’s Changing Gender: The History and Future of a Concept (Serpent’s Tail, 2026) Susan Stryker’s “My Words to Victor Frankenstein above the Village of Chamounix” Screaming Queens Susan Stryker’s Transgender History New House Art Space Blossom LGBT Katherine Hubbard David Griffiths Clare Butler Papermoon Books Whitechapel Gallery Heather Love Lena Mattheis’ Queer Forms and Pronouns (Oxford University Press, 2026) Talia Mae Bettcher  Ursula K. Why is this important? -      Susan introduces Talia Bettcher’s WTF concept. What does this mean to you? Please also look up Bettcher’s definition and/or listen to our Queer Lit episode with Bettcher. -      What does grammar have to do with gender? -      How does animacy impact language and pronoun use? -      Susan uses the example of a river to explain how our cosmologies and worldviews shape the way we use words and perceive categories. Can you think of another example of this? -      What do you think about the future of gender as a concept?

people who hang out with other racists and support noted racists tend to also be racists, yes

Thank you for all the incredible work you've done for the 2SLGBTQ+ community. You will be missed.

Rest in peace, barbara findlay 💙

And sadly there's also evidence that LGB acceptance, which has been climbing steadily for decades, has been in decline since the recent sharp rise in transactivism.

well I for one am simply shocked
August 22, 2026 at 3:42 PM
No. You're making claims which do not align with observable reality. Transactivism seeks to systematically erase the concept and language of sex from life, law and society. To be replaced with the concept of "gender" I have defined above. I don't care what *you* think it means.
August 12, 2026 at 8:53 PM
You seem to be trying to apply standpoint epistemology. A manifestation of the genetic fallacy. Why would my marital or relationship status affect the legitimacy of the statement that transactivism redefines same-sex-attraction as "same-gender attraction"? A fundamentally homophobic position.
August 11, 2026 at 8:27 PM
1. I posted a standup video making a legitimate point about the fundamental homophobia of transactivism.
2. You said it was bollocks.
3. I said that's not an insightful critique.
4. You replied "neither's yours".

Bro, I posted standup, not Bertrand Russell. 😆

Exactly. He himself said he wasn’t even there. I find the rewriting of history element of transactivism especially challenging to manage. What do you even do about or with people blatantly making stuff up?

The big issue right now is transactivism & women's rights. We need to put a stop to this—& all minorities who disproportionately cost so much time & money. The UK is secular, all religions are minorities to be tolerated & contained for the greater good. Enough is enough
May 28, 2026 at 3:28 PM
Politicians need to address the massively expensive & time-consuming issue of transactivism as a form of terrorism against the rights & protections of women. As a matter of urgency, enforce the legally defined woman findings then reroute that money & attention to better things
May 28, 2026 at 3:17 PM
The amount of time, attention & money we're all wasting on dealing with transactivism, really should have been used to help everyone with far more pressing matters. Trans stuff is disproportionate, I can't believe the global impact/ effect of this nonsense

Transactivism
Trans Ideology
Sex deceptionists

Genitally-Obsessed Bigots literally will invent an entire language out of whole cloth to avoid calling us "people."

"transactivism, an ideology which prioritises identity claims over material reality and seeks to prevent the use of ordinary language to express ordinary facts" - Maya Forestater

Not that hard to use the ordinary words for ordinary facts: trans people exist and have basic human rights
