The size of it reminds me of a bread tray stack carrier that I used to have to shove around, but the little jack part at the bottom makes me think it's for sliding on to different level floors?

I’ve a box similar to this. Mine has elephants in it and have the candlesticks and matching tray. Mine however look new. Prob 20-30 years old now.
