I've got these guys unassembled in metal in a box under my desk for a few years and I've been too scared to try 😂
It's hard enough to even know where the bits go. I look forward to them having 360 degree views on the site I can refer to!

Sculpted and primed an Exodite large Treekin today. Gardening wire and hot glue. Might make a video on it it's super easy

Kinda my least favourite treeman model if I'm honest, I prefer Trish's Marauder era ones which are just perfect 👌
I think I'd just use Kurnoth Hunters instead of treekin minis today.

Kroot starting off as tree-people before becoming bird-mercs, they definitely had some Warhammer Fantasy Wood Elf dryads and treekin concepts in 1998 to base that off of.

And from this Bloomwood, the Bark-Kin - the cute, worky little Treekin that they are - come to be!
As I've stated during #Septopolis, they primarily function as Gemorria's beloved construction workers. But they also have significant influence in Gemorrian militaries.

This is Isidor, corrupted treekin bounty hunter and the bane of archery contests everywhere. :)
Fun fact! He hates spending money on arrows, and goes jogging off to his downed target every time he runs out, which is often. Oversize custom ammunition doesn't grow on trees!

In other WtoW news, my Wood Elf army depends on me:
Assembling a vintage forest dragon
Rebasing 3 Kurnoth Hunters to use as Treekin
Waiting for GW to re-release glade guard archers so I can make up between 22 and 26 of them.

I'm in a similar position for Wood and High elves.
Heck, with dryads, treekin (Kurnoth Hunters), and Treelords from AoS, and my wife's oldskool forest dragon, I only need 26 Gladeguard/deepwood archers

My country (Czech Republic) has Celtic, Germanic, AND Slavic roots - we were their hotspot of migration and settlement, if you will.
But there's also fictional inspiration as well - such as the Sylvaneth of Age of Sigmar, and the Rampart faction of Heroes of Might & Magic 3.

They’re such a gorgeous army, and I love the contrast between the lithe, delicate archers and the hulking treekin.

6th Hellblaster highlighted, and I finished my other 8 Dryads, minus the bases. Only the Treekin left to paint up now for the 'wood' part of my Wood Elves.

That's three Kurnothi Hunters rebased onto 50mm square to be Treekin in my Wood Elf old world army. Now I just need about 26 archers to fill out the force. Might have a look at some 3rd party.
