Honestly, I wouldn’t mind a reboot movie of The Phantom today. You wouldn’t have to change much. Maybe just the race of the Phantom, so it’s less “white saviour” troped.

I feel like earlier exe games fall into this trap especially as I assume most of them were made by children or very early coders and artists, but as time goes on I can't lie seeing what new is in store has me interested since things are starting to leave troped behind and try well actually tension.
