I like Total War and I like Warhammer 40k, I like Total War: Warhammer, and since I first heard rumors about it I was a complete sourpuss about Total Warhammer 40k. Thought it was a terrible idea, wouldn't work etc. Complete 180 after the past couple things CA has shown for TW40k

The chapter customization stuff in TW40K sounds cool, but I don't actually think I'll be playing space marines until there's a dedicated Space Wolves DLC. If it's just the color scheme without any of the unique units, that's hardly compelling. I'll probably start with Eldar and Guard.

Divinity was an absolutely wild trailer especially so early on. Absolutely lost my mind at TW40k and Ace Combat 8.

there have been rumors of a tw40k game, and i'm sure there are mods for it already, but this is a vanilla campaign lol.

Not-E3 2026 is honestly even lamer than last year's. Lots of generic third person action adventures, friendslop and roguelikes. A few things caught my eye but none I'm super pumped for except maybe AC8 and TW40k.

Given Necrons aren't in the launch lineup of TW40K, I think I have a bit more time to enjoy TW3, especially with Lords of the End Times coming up.

I'm really curious about TW40k as the UI and map are leading me to believe the battles, while still huge, will be significantly smaller in scope compared to other titles. That along having both it and DoW4 around the same time span (although DoW4 is pushing its single player narrative most).

You see to me TW40K reads like a hail mary salvo for a studio that's now firmly backed against the wall - which i'm pretty sure is CA's situation post-2025.
I hope they nail it, because there might not be a CA left to fix it if they don't.

I don't think you *can* bring artillery in TW40k, which is. Well, it really says everything about TW40k.
