Posting one controller from my collection everyday until I run out, posted in no particular order. Here we have controller #11, the first controller of a Sharp TwinFamicom. On the Famicom, only the 1st controller had Select & Start, but the 2nd had a microphone.

Posting one controller from my collection everyday until I run out, posted in no particular order. Here we have controller #12, the second controller of a Sharp TwinFamicom. It lacks Select & Start buttons, but has a microphone in it.

So...what am I doing in my moment-to-moment to keep myself even-keeled? I'm indulging in my beloved hobby of retrogaming. I'm in fact looking forward to getting my TwinFamicom fully up and running this weekend. I'm also enjoying supporting relative newcomers to the video scene.

Sharp released Twin Famicom in 1986. It combined Famicon with Famicom Disk System into one shell. Much nicer package than having all those cables connecting systems.

True true, but be aware that the Sharp TwinFamicom has an issue related to it's disk drive that's very annoing to fix.

If a had to recommend a version of the Famicom, it's probably the Famicom AV, which looks like the NES toploader but has AV out unlike the american version.
