I'm an atheist and Talarico is one of the few candidates I can remember who quotes from the bible on the campaign trail and it doesn't make me wince.
The only other one who comes to mind is Obama.
If we can nominate an Obama for the #TXSenate, we have a real chance of taking this seat.

The #txsenate voted the companion bill to this HB out of committee today, but it still has a long way to go and time is short. Still possible, though, and shows 1) the police unions have not given up and 2) like our side, they cd identify no other amendable bill captions. @budkennedy.bsky.social
